He accepted money from undercover federal agents, and he was also transporting cocaine while armed and while having his badge on.
He thought that the badge would protect him if he got stopped and found with all the cocaine in his car. His plan was obviously to badge his way out of it. Wilson thought the undercover cops where real drug dealers, which makes the charges even worse.
The prosecutors even had a secret video tape that showed the delivery of 25 kilograms cocaine. He was at last denied bail. His history of suspension is 11 days in six years, once for sexually assaulting a woman.
